The History MODERN REAL ESTATE

MODERN REAL ESTATE was established in mid-2007 by co-owners Ryan Jonke and Paul Kenner. Having over a decade of experience in Real Estate, and having paid thousands of dollars in commission splits, office fees and franchise fees, Paul and Ryan designed their company based on their experiences throughout the years. One thing stood out- that agents will leave their Real Estate offices if they are not happy with their financial situation, or if they feel that they are not getting the support they need to be successful.

For these reasons, Ryan and Paul came up with a basic, but ideal philosophy for their business:

“Provide the tools, technology, training, support and financial freedom that most agents are looking for, and people will come... and more importantly, stay!”

As you keep reading, keep one thing in mind: although we discount our fees for our agents, we are in no way a discount brokerage. We will continue to build our company from within, and we will continue to reinvest in the latest tools and training to ensure our agents are always ahead of the curve!

THE TRADITIONAL OFFICE

The days of high-commission splits, franchise fees, and exorbitant monthly office fees are coming to an end! Agents these days are savvier, and with the ease of access through the World Wide Web, they are also more educated on what is available to them. Agents know now, more than ever, that if they are going to pay 30-40% commission, or pay hundreds of dollars a month in office fees, they better be getting something of equal value in return! Ask yourself one thing: are you getting and equal value from your current company for? The answer, is NO!

We also believe in a “NO PRESSURE” atmosphere! We know that every person involved in Real Estate is in this profession for their own personal reasons. Whether you are in Real Estate to be full-time, part-time, for personal investment or just to supplement your main source of income, we will treat everyone the same because we believe every agent is running their business the way they feel best suites them.  You will never feel the burden of having to “produce” now.  However, We will provide direction if asked to do so!
